Serve

It's amazing, but true: God uses ordinary people to accomplish his purposes.

He invites each of us to partner with Him through service. He has uniquely created each of us and given us gifts and abilities that are to be used for the benefit of others.

The Bible says Jesus "did not come to be served, but serve and give his life a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45). In light of what Jesus has done, how can his followers not follow in his steps?

Jesus' sacrificial service provides a tremendous motivation to cultivate a heart that serves others. At Mid Rivers, we want people to discover the joy of obediently serving others. As we serve others we find significance and satisfaction in doing what God has called us to do.

Together we can serve. Together we can make a difference. With God, we will change the world.
